If ST2110 or AES67 OB units need to be reliably connected in a mobile configuration, also under extreme conditions, this can be reliably realized with our KLOTZ FiberLink single-mode cables with SmartBeam connectors.

Multi 12G-SDI over fiber
When a lot of 12G-SDI signals have to be transported over long distances, KLOTZ fiber optic cables are the ideal solution.
In combination with powerful optical CWDM MUX/DEMUX hardware and fiber optic transmitters/receivers, our KLOTZ FiberLink single-mode cables with SmartBeam connectors can transmit up to 10 km.
Such a system can be upscaled to nearly any size.

simple Camera connection broadcast application over fiber
A broadcast camera often needs to be connected flexibly and bidirectionally over longer distances to a video mixer or a control panel.
KLOTZ offers the right solution here with its single-mode DUAL FiberLink Ultra flex cables in conjunction with suitable fiber optic transmitters/receivers.

SMPTE camera cable for Blackmagic converter
We also have the right cables for the Fiber Converter from Blackmagic Design. And we have been doing so for years!
Our SMPTE camera cable CAM-PUU is well equipped for this. It complies with the standards SMPTE-311M (cable cut goods) and SMPTE-304 (connectors). The robust PUR outer sheath conceals two single-mode fibers E9/125 µm for HD signals. And this over distances of up to 2000 m (depending on the equipment used!).
In addition, there are six copper conductors in the cable, four for the power supply and two for control signals. A centrally attached steel cable provides enormous tensile strength – a feature in demand in mobile applications. The LEMO connectors are also compatible with professional broadcast cameras from SONY, JVC, Panasonic and Grass Valley.
By the way: we are one of the few manufacturers who are allowed to assemble LEMO connectors due to our sophisticated manufacturing technology and are even certified for this!

SMPTE / ARIB
KLOTZ AIS produces Fiber Optic camera cables to the SMPTE standard. The company holds certification to produce optical fiber cables like our CAM311 with LEMO or Neutrik opticalCON connectors.
As optical fiber types often differ widely, the process requires great experience and technological expertise – skills which our highly skilled and qualified experts naturally have. They use state-of-the-art production machinery, tools and measurement equipment to ensure maximum precision and quality, and document the results in test certificates that are supplied with the cables.
The cable itself complies with the SMPTE 311M and ARIB standards for HDTV cameras. It is a hybrid cable with four power lines and two lines for control signals via two single-mode optical fibre conductors. A central insulated steel strength member ensures very high tensile strength. With a diameter of 1.8 mm, it meets the ARIB specifications for this feature, which are more rigorous than those in SMPTE 311M.
The CAM311 Camera Cable is available with a variety of LEMO connectors (3K93C) in accordance with SMPTE 304M. The cable is also available with Neutrik opticalCON connectors.
